It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

5 December 2016

Christmas is always a busy time, but there are opportunities for you to get your message out to people through the charity Community Christmas and local radio station Radio Christmas.

The charity Community Christmas encourages communities to consider inviting older residents who might otherwise spend Christmas Day alone, to a Christmas Day event.  This opportunity to socialise with others can make a huge difference to someone who might otherwise be lonely on this day and Community Christmas provides  support and guidance to those anyone wanting to run an event on Christmas Day and will give a free listing to any events or activities to maximise their reach into the community.

You can register your activity on the Community Christmas website anytime from now.

For more information on support available or to register your event visit the Community Christmas website.

Radio Christmas

Radio Christmas is a local charity radio station running from December 1st to 24th in Amersham.  All their donations go to the charity Street Kids Direct.  They are looking for charities who want to promote themselves on air in the run up to Christmas.  If you'd like to be on air telling the local community what you do and who you help, then please get in touch with jack.gocher@radiochristmas.co.uk to arrange an interview.

You can find Radio Christmas online, on 87.7fm, on the mobile or on Apple TV.
