Dignity and Respect Awards 2017

Do you know a Dignity in Care Star? Someone who has gone the extra mile to treat others with the dignity and respect?
Nominate them for an award today! Nominations close at 5pm on 24 February.

The Dignity & Respect Awards are back for 2017!

Caring for our most vulnerable people is a tough yet rewarding job. Making them feel valued as a person while you’re caring for them is even better. There are many unsung stars that are doing an amazing job of keeping the people they care for motivated, happy and confident.

From a neighbour, friend or local club volunteer to carers, GPs, nurses and hospital staff now is the time to say thank you for going the extra mile to treat people they care for with dignity and respect.

The Awards celebrate outstanding examples of how dignity and respect are demonstrated across Buckinghamshire. We are looking for individuals, teams and organisations that have gone the extra mile in supporting people in Buckinghamshire in a way that promotes dignity, respect and well-being.

We are inviting nominations from members of the public as well as people working in the health and care sectors. If you know of a person, team, group or organisation that has gone above and beyond supporting people in Buckinghamshire then why not recognise them for their excellence and nominate them as a Dignity in Care Star for 2017.

Shortlisted nominations will be shown at the Dignity & Respect Awards event on FRIDAY, 19 MAY 2017 at The Gateway in Aylesbury where the audience will vote for the winner in each category. Bookings for the award ceremony will open on 13 March following shortlisting. To book your place please email dignity@buckscc.gov.uk from 13 March.
