Free management and leadership BTEC training

27 March 2017

BSEL are offering free management and leadership training for charities and community groups who sign up before the end of April 2017.

Would your managers and leaders benefit from some high quality, practical and participative learning to help them to make the most of their roles and enhance their contribution to your organisation? Would you like to offer them the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification through BTEC?

If you sign up before the end of April, BSEL (a Berkshire based charity) are able to offer community organisations and charities a free programme leading to BTEC Diploma with funding from the government’s Skills Funding Agency through their contract with Buckinghamshire Adult Learning.

BSEL have delivered these programmes to other organisations in the area including charities, schools, local authorities, care providers and the private sector. This is an excellent way to provide the management training staff need without committing funds that may not currently be available.

There are three levels of training - team Leader (level 2), manager (level 3) and senior manager (level 5) –  and training consists of workshops, coaching and assessment.  Learners have up to a year to work with BSEL to put together their portfolio of evidence and throughout that year they will have the support of a subject expert to help them to achieve.

Benefits for organisations include:

  • Rare opportunity to develop team leading and management skills in-house
  • High quality training workshops
  • Local venues for training workshops (or in-house if group size appropriate)
  • Follow-up coaching and support for your staff
  • A real boost for leaders and managers at all levels in your organisation

Benefits for delegates include:

  • Practical, interactive, jargon-free workshops
  • Access to current management thinking and techniques
  • The opportunity to share issues and ideas in a confidential environment
  • Great networking through working with managers from other local organisations
  • Nationally recognised qualifications
