Online streaming of skilled volunteering and trustee roles now live!

7 June 2017

We can provide you with the opportunity to access thousands of skilled volunteers via Volunteering Bucks.

We recently told you about our partnership with Reach Volunteering, the national organisation that connects charities and non-profits with skilled and experienced volunteers.

Our agreement allows for a live-stream of Reach vacancies in Buckinghamshire to be displayed on Community Impact Bucks’ dedicated volunteering website,, to make it even easier for local organisations to fill trustee vacancies and skills-based volunteering roles such as marketing, management, finance, HR, or IT amongst others.

So, if you’ve got vacancies for trustees or specialist volunteers we strongly encourage you to sign up, advertise them via Reach and gain access to the thousands of skilled volunteers registered.

Jane Clarke, chair of Headway South Bucks did just that.  “We are currently recruiting Trustees for our Board and Reach was recommended to me as one resource to try. I found the registration process very instinctive and logical. Having uploaded my opportunities, Reach were very quick to post them on their website and inform me that they were live. The dashboard is well laid out and a great way of keeping track of contacts and correspondence. Fingers crossed; I am meeting a potential Trustee who found us on Reach this week...”

To reap the benefits, find out how to register and advertise your vacancies on the Reach website.  It’s free to do this (with the exception of the TrusteeWorks’ matching service where there is a charge for charities with a turnover of over £1m).  In May, Reach recorded 50% more volunteer placements than in the same period last year – proof indeed that it works!
