Up to £30k development funding available

12 September 2017

The Fore is the only open-access funder in the UK offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises. They make grants of up to £30,000 over one to three years and provide access to business expertise to help recipients achieve their goals.

Their funding application is quick and simple without restrictive criteria and, if successful, you would be matched with professional support – ongoing mentoring, strategic advice, governance support or other assistance.

The Fore will fund any organisation that is small (annual income less than £1m) and charitable. You need to be UK registered, but can be a charity, social enterprise or community interest company.
They make unrestricted grants which have the potential to have a transformational impact on an organisation. For example, enabling your organisation to take a step forward in its development or giving you the chance to do something you couldn’t before.

To apply for funding, organisations must register at the start of each funding round. Numbers for each round are capped and registration is run on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once the cap is reached, the round is closed, therefore you are advised to register early.

Registration (Spring 2018 round):  Opens 11 December 2017, 10 am

Application Deadline for Registered Organisations (Spring 2018 round):  8 January

Funding Decisions Announced (Spring 2018 round):  By 29 March
