Support for growth - help for social enterprises & trading arms

20 November 2017

Bucks based social enterprises or charity trading arms may be eligible for the Growth Programme, which is focused on helping small businesses established for over a year to grow.

The Growth Programme, from Buckinghamshire Business First, can only support charities if they are social enterprises and if they get income from selling goods and/or services and invest the profits from this trading activity for social good, not personal gain.   Support consists of a package from a team of experienced business advisers at Bucks Business First including:

  • Face to face meetings, telephone and email backup
  • Growth-focused workshops
  • Investment readiness support
  • Referrals to other specialist advice and services
  • Expert knowledge of local and national support and funding opportunities, which will help you access the existing support networks and programmes relevant to your business.

For more information on the Growth Programme visit the BBF website.
