FSI support on #LocalCharitiesDay 15 Dec

The Foundation of Social Improvement (FSI) help small and local charities and provide the support they need to thrive. On Local Charities Day this 15th December they will be celebrating by running the following free support programme:

In advance of Local Charities Day they are releasing 10 x 30-minute webinars on a range of fundraising topics whilst on the day itself they will be running 3 x 1.5-hour interactive webinars on topics including Community & Events Fundraising, Major Donor Fundraising and Supporting and Managing Volunteers. Book your places in advance before they run out.

2. A competition to win £100 for your charity
Simply complete this sentence in 140 characters or less: "Local Charities are important because..." emailing your response to or tweeting @thefsi including the hashtag #LocalCharitiesDay

3. A Twitter Q+A to ask their experts all your burning fundraising questions
Ask their fundraising experts any of your burning questions on the day and they will provide an answer. Simply tweet in to @thefsi on the 15th December using #AsktheFundraiser and #LocalCharitiesDay or you can email with your fundraising question in advance 

4. Join their Facebook Live talk on How You Can Diversify your Income 
The FSI’s Janine Edwards, Head of Business Development, will be sharing her top tips on supporting your charity to diversify its income and to support your sustainability. Join via the FSI’s Facebook page at 13.00 on the 15th for the 30-minute live chat.

5. Look out for their top-tip fundraising films  
As a celebration of all things fundraising they will be releasing six films from a range of fundraising experts sharing their 3 top tips on everything from Trusts and Foundations to Legacies. Keep an eye on the @FSI Twitter and Facebook pages on Local Charities Day itself to be the first to access these.
