Advertising your Opportunities

Using the Role Description you have created, decide how you are going to market your opportunity:

  • Who is your target audience?
  • How can you reach them?  e.g. personal networks, online, fairs/events, publications
  • What media will you use?  e.g. online databases, social media, adverts in local magazines

We have identified some of the best websites where you can post your opportunities - the majority of them are FREE to use. We direct potential volunteers to these on our local volunteering portal

FREE.  The UK’s national volunteering database, makes it easy for anyone to volunteer in their community, and we link to the Do-it search widget on our local volunteering portal.
