Funding

Funding and financial sustainability are a priority for all voluntary and community organisations regardless of whether you are just starting out or have been going for a number of years.

To make sure you can continue to serve your beneficiaries, you need to plan how to fund your activities for current and future projects, and to do this through a range of funding sources as this will help your organisation to be more resilient.

Do you need help starting? Click on the ‘Sources of income‘ button to find out about the different funding options available to you.  You can also download our guide to start creating your own Fundraising Strategy, and read more about fundraising legislation and regulations which boards must be aware of and comply with – in our Governance in Fundraising section. Top Tip

One great way of finding funding suitable for you is via online funding directories, Bucks Funding Search  and Grantway.   Funding Directories are online search databases that are used to search for grant opportunities using keywords to identify the most suitable ones for an organisation or project.

Download our guide for information on other funding directories that may be able to help you find a funder that is a good fit for your work.
