Local funding sources

There are a number of funding sources specific to Buckinghamshire: 

Buckinghamshire Funding Search – This is a free online searchable database of funding opportunities hosted and sponsored by Community Impact Bucks. This tool is recommended because it allows you to tailor your search, it’s easy to use and is updated on a regular basis. You can also sign up to receive regular funding updates.

Crowdfund Bucks - Crowdfunding takes advantage of the power of the internet to give you a new way to raise money and support for your project or venture.  Community Impact Bucks is a partner in the Crowdfunder portal exclusively for Buckinghamshire. The portal is part of Crowdfunder UK, the largest rewards-based crowdfunding platform in the UK. It has worked extensively with charities, community projects and social enterprises.

Heart of Bucks – A Community Foundation supporting charities and community groups across Buckinghamshire whose work benefits local people. The majority of grants awarded are up to £5,000, however Heart of Bucks also manage a range of other grants programmes with their own priorities and criteria – please check their website for details.

Buckinghamshire Big Society Bank - Offers loans from £1,000 to £25,000 to registered charities and social enterprises. Loans are not charged interest and are provided on an unsecured basis, with repayment terms ranging from one to five years.
