Funding & Governance Advice Session

Free confidential Funding & Governance advice sessions are being hosted at various venues around the County by Community Impact Bucks and the Buckinghamshire Community Foundation.

These one on one advice sessions are being offered to voluntary and community groups in Buckinghamshire who do not employ professional paid fundraisers on their staff.

To Register for a one on one appointment with Community Impact Bucks:

A 45 minute, one on one session can be reserved with the sustainability team to discuss funding requirements for your group. This could be about: costing/ budgeting, funding applications, running fundraising activities, or exploring ways of developing sustainable funding alternatives to traditional grant funding streams. We can offer an unbiased initial valuation of your project and/or revenue streams, guidance on your constitution, signposting to other sources of expertise and to appropriate funders you may wish to consider.

N.B. With only 6 appointment slots per month, demand is always high and slots get taken up swiftly. We expect people to honour their appointments. Whilst this is not always possible in the event of emergencies, we do ask for seven days’ notice if you are unable to attend. We operate a reserve list and can usually offer cancelled appointments to someone else.

With the service in such demand, it is our policy to allow groups one appointment per year, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Failure to attend your appointment without giving us notice means that you will not be eligible to attend another Funding Advice Session for a 12 month period.
