Transparency and Trust: Trustee Conference, 9th May, 2:00 – 5:15pm, Aylesbury

If you’re a trustee or committee member of a charity, voluntary or community group or a board member of a social enterprise,  this half-day conference is for you!

We are all aware of the press coverage about the public fall in trust in charities and the negative impact this can have on the support we receive from the public. Although the good news is that small, local charities fare better than larger charities there is no question that in this competitive environment we must show that we deserve the trust and support we need to help our beneficiaries. As Baroness Stowell of the Charity Commission said about public trust ”the public want evidence that charities are what they say they are”.

Our annual trustee conference will give you expert input and practical ideas to advance your organisation, as well as the opportunity to network with your peers.

early bird rate for members of CIB. Only 75 places available at the early bird rate. Offer runs until 31 March 2019 or all places are sold.
£40 standard rate for charities, voluntary and community groups delivering services in Buckinghamshire
£80 for statutory or out of area organisations

Trustee Recruitment Fair 6:00 – 7.30pm

The Trustee Recruitment Fair follows on from the conference with a limited number of stands available for charities, voluntary and community groups looking to fill trustee roles.

This informal but highly effective networking session provides dedicated time for charities and potential trustees to meet, learn more about each other and hopefully develop a long-lasting relationship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet with people genuinely interested in giving their time to a local organisation in a leadership role. Find out more about them, talk to them about what you do, what you’re looking for and the contribution they can make to your future.

£30 for a stand (includes entrance to Trustee Fair only for up to 3 representatives)
