How strong is my organisation’s governance?
Good governance is essential for a successful charity. To help you assess how your organisation is performing, we offer the Community Impact Bucks Healthcheck Tool. This free, online tool is quick and easy to use, providing a snapshot of your organisation’s strengths and areas for development. Access the Healthcheck Tool on our website.
How do I learn about the running of the organisation?
Your skills as at trustee – whether in finance, HR, or simply lived experience – are valuable to a local charity. However, you may not have experience of running an organisation. Have a look at our resources which cover all aspects of running a not-for-profit organisation in our Running your organisation webpages, including planning and strategy and day-to-day operations.
