01. About Volunteer Bucks

Volunteer Bucks is an online platform where volunteers and organisations across Buckinghamshire can find and connect with each other.

People can browse for local volunteering opportunities by personal interests, location, and availability, and then apply directly to a role. Organisations in need of volunteers are able to post and manage their roles on the platform, answering any questions potential volunteers may have.

Free and easy-to-use, it has an interactive map which shows opportunities in nearby locations and, for anyone who isn’t sure what sort of role would suit them, there is a helpful online quiz to suggest roles that match their preferences.

Run by Community Impact Bucks, it replaces the Buckinghamshire Volunteer Matching Service.

If would you have any questions, please email volunteerbucks@communityimpactbucks.org.uk or call 01296 846678.

02. Volunteering options for 13–17-year-olds

If you are under 18 and looking for a volunteer role, you will not be able to register with Volunteer Bucks directly. You can still browse the volunteering platform and, if you see a role you like, get in touch with us and we can contact the organisation on your behalf. Email the team on volunteerbucks@communityimpactbucks.org.uk or call 01296 846678

The following organisations may also have suitable volunteer roles:

Check out youth programmes which often have volunteering opportunities such as Scouts, Guides, St John's Ambulance, Red Cross Cadets, and Sea Cadets.

Contact organisations which have roles that you like for those over 18, and ask if they would be happy for you to do it if a parent/guardian accompanies you.
