What are the Local Voluntary Sector Networks?
Are you part of a charity or community group in Buckinghamshire and would like to meet and collaborate with other not-for-profit organisations in your area?
The Local Voluntary Sector Networks provide an informal space for Bucks-based charities, voluntary & community groups, and social enterprises to share ideas, learning, information and resources, and to work together to maximise impact within the community.
There are Networks which cover different areas of the county and are based on Buckinghamshire Council’s Community Board localities of:
- North – Aylesbury, Buckingham & villages, Winslow & villages, Wing & Ivinghoe, Haddenham & Waddesdon, Missendens, Wendover, Chesham & villages
- South – South-West Chilterns, North-West Chilterns, Amersham & villages, Beaconsfield & Chepping Wye, High Wycombe, Beeches, Wexham & Ivers, Denham, Gerrards Cross & Chalfonts
The Networks are facilitated by Community Impact Bucks, but the focus and topics are driven by the local groups based on the priorities of their communities.
Who should attend?
The Networks are for Bucks-based charities, voluntary & community groups, and social enterprises that are based in and/or provide services in Buckinghamshire. Both new and established organisations, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to participate, to share their experiences with others.
Organisations are welcome to participate in both North and South Networks if they are working across a wider area in the county.
When do the networks meet?
Each Local Voluntary Sector Network will meet several times a year, initially online via video conference. If you wish to participate in the Local Voluntary Sector Networks, or wish to find out more, please use the links below.
