Date and Time: 5 February 2025 (6-8pm)
Venue: Watermead Village Hall, The Piazza, Watermead, Aylesbury HP19 0FX
Type: In person
About the event
The Local Voluntary Sector Network meetings provide an informal forum for charities and other not-for-profit organisations in Buckinghamshire to share information and collaborate on the local issues that matter most.
Taking place throughout the county, the in-person sessions are a great place to network, discuss local needs and explore opportunities for change in your communities.
Our next meeting is in Aylesbury on 5 February 2025. While the Local Voluntary Sector Network is facilitated by Community Impact Bucks, the focus and topics of each session are driven by the local groups based on the priorities of their communities.
Some of the areas highlighted at previous meetings include:
- Prioritising and managing workloads
- Finding local funding opportunities and using AI in fundraising
- Recruiting and managing volunteers
- Raising the profile of your organisation, particularly through social media
- Engaging young people
Who should attend?
Individuals and groups involved with Bucks-based charities, voluntary and community groups and social enterprises that are based and/or provide services in Buckinghamshire.
Both new and established organisations, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to share their experiences with others.
