Who should attend
Mentoring for Success sessions are designed for trustees, leaders, and senior managers of small charities, community groups, voluntary organisations, and social enterprises already delivering services in Buckinghamshire, as well as for people looking to set up new organisations delivering services in Buckinghamshire.
These sessions are ideal for you if you are looking to develop clear plans to ensure your organisation’s effectiveness now and into the future.
Session topics
Mentoring sessions with Warren Koehler cover topics such as:
- Aligning organisational vision with objects, aims, and objectives.
- Developing the culture of your team and working with trustees to embed this across the organisation.
- Reviewing your organisational structure to ensure it is fit for purpose.
- Reviewing and understanding the roles and responsibilities of leaders and trustees.
- Assessing your governance and creating a plan to improve board effectiveness.

About the mentor
With a passion for helping charity leaders succeed, Warren Koehler brings a wealth of experience from his 18 years in the social work profession and his subsequent roles in the private and not-for-profit sectors.
Throughout his career, Warren has gained extensive experience in business management, regulatory requirements, mergers and acquisitions, and quality service provision. His final 12 years were spent in the charity sector, focusing on services for disabled people of all ages, working with both large national providers and medium-sized local charities.
