Join the VCSE Health Alliance and be Heard

New membership opportunity for VCSE organisations in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West, (BOB), to collaborate with the newly developing regional and local health systems

Regional health systems are transforming and as part of the approach, the health partnership project is working to ensure the VCSE sector provides a strategic voice and is critical in developing health and care systems across BOB.

The health partnerships project aims to facilitate better collaboration between the VCSE sector and between health and care systems regionally through a BOB-wide VCSE Health Alliance.

Our vision is to work together to enable and facilitate new opportunities for the collective voice of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector to positively impact the design and delivery of health and care services in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West, achieving change by facilitating inclusive representation and collaboration.

The BOB VCSE Health Alliance has been to created to:

  • Make connections actively connect with the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector partners, and other key stakeholders to come together and plan, develop, deliver innovative solutions in order to build stronger and healthier communities.
  • Add Value across the health and care systems through community, charity and social enterprise provision.
  • Create Change building an inclusive network, that has voice and expertise to influence, inform and shape the wider Integrated Care System. 
  • Challenge Inequality to ensure greater inclusivity and accessibility in the planning of health services, commissioning and service provision.

The VCSE Alliance operates as a health and care third sector network within the BOB ICB footprint and membership is open to non-profit or voluntary sector organisations that deliver on wellbeing priorities in this area.

Connect with other peers, share knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences, get insight into the wider health system, bring understanding from a delivery level back to decision-makers to improve services, gain a network of supportive organisations that can help cross-refer, promote one another and improve health outcomes in the long term.
