
Katie leads the charity, ensuring that CIB has the resources, partnerships and services needed to help organisations and communities improve the lives of people in Bucks.

Debi heads up the Service Delivery Team who deliver our support for groups, communities, volunteering and direct delivery services. She is responsible for the design, delivery, evaluation and resourcing of programmes of support and development to ensure thriving and resilient communities and VCSE organisations in Buckinghamshire

Rachel leads on the design, delivery and evaluation of the charity’s communications activity.

Kay oversees portfolio management, project management standards, process best practice, and IT data services enabling Community Impact Bucks to perform to the highest standards.

Helen delivers and evaluates support and development programmes for our local communities through leading effective volunteering, impact evaluation and research programmes. She also leads on safeguarding and Community Transport.

Samantha is responsible for the management, evaluation and development of our Gardening & Wellbeing and Handy Helpers projects. These direct delivery services support vulnerable and socially isolated Buckinghamshire residents who are elderly or disabled, to stay safe and well in their own homes for longer.

Lew’s background is in working with children & families and community projects. He also has experience leading volunteering programmes and working with volunteers in Buckinghamshire. If you would like advice on supporting volunteers or are interested in volunteering, do get in touch.

Frankie has over 10 years experience in the charity sector – having set up her own charity as well as working for both small local and larger national charities in senior fundraising roles.

Barry has worked as a strategic consultant for a number of years, primarily focusing on topics such as Social Value and Impact measurement for Charities, Housing Providers and Local Authorities. Barry supports the Local Voluntary Sector Networks, and provides advice to charities on a range of issues, including GDPR.

Amber is our gardening expert and leads our team of supported volunteer gardeners delivering our Gardening Service. With the team, she visits our clients to undertake garden clearances and maintenance.

To provide administration and co-ordination support to the VCSE & Community Development Team enabling successful delivery of projects and services. Also, provides first point of contact for enquiries and referrals to the Gardening & Well-being and Handy Helpers services.

Nosh provides support to members of the VCSE & Community Development Team as well as the Volunteer Matching Service.

Wanda provides support to members of the VCSE & Community Development Team.

Roxana is responsible for maintaining accurate financial data and she provides support to all members of the team to ensure the organisation functions efficiently.

Chanel is responsible for managing the Community Impact Bucks social media channels, as well as creating & disseminating content through these channels, newsletters, website & blogs.

As part of the Volunteer Matching Service team, Cheryl calls volunteers and matches them to roles across Buckinghamshire. Cheryl also writes case studies and other material published by Community Impact Bucks.
Our Trustees

Michael took on the role of Chair in 2021 after joining the Board in May 2020. Following an extensive corporate career in Market Research, he brings a broad range of experience in IT, Business Process Improvement (BPI), and general management to the charity. He is also a trustee of the Camden Society and runs his own consultancy Skilljoy which encompasses Board Advisory services and Senior Executive Coaching.

Beth has 25 years of Leadership and Management experience in the not-for-profit sector developing programmes which tackle complex social issues in areas of youth, community, disability and family support. Currently running a consultancy working with a variety of charities, providing specialism in planning and implementing organisational change and restructure, fundraising, developing business plans and strategy and refreshing organisational culture.

Charlotte is a charity professional with expertise in fundraising and marketing. Charlotte has worked at charities including Arthritis Research UK, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. She is currently Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Cardiomyopathy UK, a charity based in Amersham supporting people affected by heart muscle disease.

Carol is a pharmacist by training and now works as a freelance regulatory consultant. As well as her role as trustee, she is a CIB ambassador for the Marlow area and is a volunteer for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Dominic is a volunteering expert who is the CEO of two London-based Volunteer Centre charities and a social enterprise. He has represented the UK at the United Nations on several occasions to lead and facilitate discussions on how volunteering can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He is a leader on ESV, enabling businesses to support the community through volunteering.

Lesley has been a trustee with CIB since 2017. She is an experienced People Director with a track record of achieving results at Board level in both a business and not-for-profit capacity.

Lianda joins the board with over 20 years’ experience in retail marketing across a range of industries, covering brand, customer campaigns and corporate communications. She is trained as an Executive Coach, and she volunteers both as a mentor to Neurodivergent people and as a Mental Health First Aider.

Murray is a Chartered Accountant with many years of experience in senior finance roles, including CFO of two national charities.
He now combines working as a part-time Finance Director, acting as Trustee for CIB, volunteering for his cricket club and Chiltern Society Path Maintenance Volunteers, and enjoying various sporting activities.

Peter became a Trustee in 2020. He is an experienced Managing Director and CEO in the private sector, and runs his own management consultancy. As well as his role at CIB Peter is also a Trustee of SportsAble, a Berkshire based charity which promotes awareness of disability through sport and recreation.

Karen Satterford was a Chief Executive for 18 years, 14 of those at Wycombe Council. She now coaches CEs and Directors in public and private sectors, is a Technical Assessor for CE recruitments, Member of Council for Bucks New University and trustee of CIB since May 2020.

Nigel is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), retired from a long career with Compass Group PLC. He continues to act as chair of trustees of a Compass pension scheme and is a trustee of local village organisations.

An experienced MD and management consultant, he is also involved in running a global social responsibility accreditation and training company, CSR-A, helping transform businesses and focused to become socially responsible and sustainable. Owen has worked with charities and not-for-profit organisations over the last 15 years holding non-executive and trustee roles.

Roy is a public affairs, communications and campaign management expert. He’s held senior roles in government, corporate and NFP sectors. In recent years he has been focused on rural issues, setting up GDFWatch, an NGO defending community rights, and promoting democratic innovation & intergenerational and environmental justice.
Our Ambassadors
Our ambassadors represent Community Impact Bucks in their local communities. They help charities and community groups by making sure they know of and can access our support, by raising the profile of volunteering and by being a first point of contact for local organisations.

Mimi has been Community Impact Bucks Chairman since 2017. She has been a district councillor for 21 years and was awarded an OBE in 2012 for her work for women and her local community. She currently serves on Buckinghamshire Council as the Deputy Armed Forces Champion and is involved in a wide range of voluntary roles across Buckinghamshire.
