We offer free, one-to-one advice sessions to discuss the requirements of your charity, social enterprise or community group.
Outline of the session
You will meet with a member of our volunteering services team for an in-depth assessment of your needs with immediate advice and signposting to sources of further support.
Each 45-minute session is tailored to your individual requirements. Topics could include:volunteering policies, volunteer recruitment and retention, managing volunteers, induction and training, volunteers with expert skills or legal issues involved working with volunteers.
Sessions are held monthly at venues across Buckinghamshire. With only 6 appointment slots per day demand for tickets is high so you need to book early.
“We increased our recruited number of volunteers by 100% in the few months following the advice session.” Anonymous
We do expect people to honour their appointments, or to give us adequate notice should a group be unable to attend. We operate a reserve list and can sometimes offer cancelled appointments to someone else with advance notice.
Due to high demand, we regret that we are unable to see a representative from an organisation more than once in a 12-month period.
