“A well delivered, concise session full of facts and advice. Excellent.” Clinton Osborne, Westbury Village Hall
We offer free, one-to-one advice sessions to discuss the requirements of your charity, social enterprise or community group.
Outline of the session
You will meet with a member of our volunteering services team for an in-depth assessment of your needs with immediate advice and signposting to sources of further support.
Each 45-minute session is tailored to your individual requirements. Topics could include:volunteering policies, volunteer recruitment and retention, managing volunteers, induction and training, volunteers with expert skills or legal issues involved working with volunteers.
Sessions are held monthly at venues across Buckinghamshire. With only 6 appointment slots per day demand for tickets is high so you need to book early.
An appointment time can be selected at the time of booking and are as follows:
10:00-10:45, 11:00-11:45, 12:00-12:45, 13:30-14:15, 14:30-15:15, 15:30-16:15
Previous quotes from participants:
“Thank you so much for the follow email and the attached documents and relevant information. It is greatly appreciated.
It was a pleasure meeting you and you were very informative and helpful.”
“Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all your help when we met and the follow up information.”
We do expect people to honour their appointments, or to give us adequate notice should a group be unable to attend. We operate a reserve list and can sometimes offer cancelled appointments to someone else with advance notice.
Due to high demand, we regret that we are unable to see a representative from an organisation more than once in a 12-month period.
Who should Attend?
These sessions are for anyone who currently recruits and manages volunteers for charities, social enterprises or voluntary and community groups based in Bucks, or who will be in the immediate future.
