ADVICE PLUS SESSION: VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT & MANAGEMENT – WYCOMBE
Free
Do you need new ideas on how to recruit much-needed volunteers and trustees, including those with expert skills? Or maybe you would like advice on your volunteer programme which will help with volunteer retention?
At our one-to-one Advice Plus appointments, we can give you advice on volunteer recruitment and management, answering any specific questions you may have or offering general advice which is tailored to your charity or community group. We will also signpost you to other resources and organisations which could help and, if appropriate, introduce you to other local charities.
Following the one hour session, we will send a list of the resources which were discussed in the Advice Plus session to help you put your plan into action. We will also agree a date to follow up with you to review progress and give further support if needed.
Here are some examples of areas discussed during previous advice sessions:
- Setting up a volunteering programme (ie being ‘volunteer-ready’)
- Volunteering strategy and policies
- Volunteer recruitment/management/retention
- Volunteer induction and training
- Safeguarding and DBS
- Legal issues
- Trustee recruitment, including succession planning and achieving Board diversity.
