Basic Principles of Safeguarding
Safeguarding is vital within organisations who work with and help protect the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people.
If you are a volunteer within a group that helps to support vulnerable people and would like to understand more about what to do and how to respond if you are concerned about someone’s welfare, then then come along to a FREE interactive workshop where you will learn about:
• Key elements of relevant legislation
• Steps to take to avoid allegations or complaints
• The different types of abuse or neglect that you might encounter
This FREE interactive workshop will be hosted by Chiltern District Council and led by Community Impact Bucks’ Helen Archer, Safeguarding Trainer.
Who should attend?
Anyone who volunteers in the community and/or in a position to protect the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people. (NB this event is open to all Buckinghamshire organisations and is not restricted to just those in the Chiltern District area)
