Big Lottery Fund 1-1 sessions
The sessions will be particularly useful for those organisations wanting to apply to Reaching Communities England funding or Awards for All.
Reaching Communities England provides funding between £10,000-£500,000 and can fund some or all of the costs associated with delivering your project such as staff salaries, training, equipment etc. It can also include funding up to £100,000 for small-scale capital work.
The most important thing is that it is your ideas to make positive changes in your community and that the people who will benefit will have influenced or be involved in the project. The fund is particularly interested in projects that support:
Lasting and sustainable changes to places and spaces
Communities to develop happier and stronger relationships with each other
Taking action to focus on the root causes of social problems to tackle them at the earliest possible stage
Awards for All from the National Lottery offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support projects and activities that matter to people and communities, usually taking place within a 12 month period or for one-off events.
It is important to show how your project will:
bring people together and build strong relationships in and across communities
improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage
involve your community in the design, development and delivery of the activities
Who should attend?
Any charity, voluntary or community organisation in Buckinghamshire looking to apply for Big Lottery funds.
