Buckinghamshire Community Transport Forum

Community Transport is at the heart of communities and, in an ever-changing landscape, it’s not always easy to know where to discuss issues or seek support.

Join us on Thursday 26th October (1.30-2.30pm) for the first Buckinghamshire Community Transport Forum where community transport schemes and those interested in community transport can come together to network, discuss local issues, and explore opportunities.

We will be joined by Paula Salazar, Development Officer for England South at the Community Transport Association (CTA). The CTA is a national charity that provides support, training, and advice to other UK charities so they can offer flexible transport solutions in their communities. Paula will help facilitate discussion using topics raised during the Connecting Forum for South Central England which is one of eleven regional forums run by the CTA.

About the event

The Buckinghamshire Community Transport Forum is an informal online event.

The forum will be flexible, with open discussion so we can focus on the topics that attendees would like to talk about. Some of the topics we have supported with in the past, and can discuss during the forum, include volunteer driver recruitment, funding, and the Approved Mileage Allowance Payment.

Topics highlighted during this session will be used to inform discussion at the next regional Connecting Forum for South Central England.

Who should attend?

The Buckinghamshire Community Transport Forum is open to all individuals and groups involved with or interested in Community Transport in Buckinghamshire. Both new and established community transport schemes, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to participate, to share their experiences with others.

How to book

The free networking forum will be held on Zoom. Joining details will be sent closer to the time.
