Buckinghamshire Charities, Women and Leadership Seminar
We are excited to bring you Buckinghamshire’s first International Women’s Day seminar for charities, community groups and local organisations to hear and share ideas about women and leadership in our community on Monday 8th March (10-11.45am).
Hosted by Mimi Harker, OBE, Chair of Community Impact Bucks and Katie Higginson, CEO of Community Impact Bucks, we will bring you three inspiring presentations:
- Charity Careers and Wellbeing for Women – Emma-Louise Singh & Emma Low, Nova Fundraising
- Women, Leadership and Charities– Karen Satterford, Vice Chair of Trustees, Community Impact Bucks
- Building an Inclusive Charity Culture – Ranjula Takodra MBE, Founding Director of Inspire All CIC and member of the Buckinghamshire BAME Network interviewed by Mimi Harker.
Each presentation will last 15 minutes with time for networking and questions facilitated by Dawn Newton, Morello Marketing and Charity Meetup Founder.
This free seminar will be followed by the first ever Buckinghamshire Women in Charity Awards ceremony where we will be celebrating the amazing achievements of women from across Buckinghamshire working and volunteering in the charity sector.
Who should attend? Anyone who works or volunteers in charities, community groups and local organisations in Buckinghamshire, particularly women who are keen to hear how women are making a difference to local communities both now and in the future.
