Do you need new ideas how to recruit volunteers and trustees?

Or maybe you would like advice about refreshing your volunteering programme, or setting it up for the first time.

At our one-to-one Advice Plus appointments, at a time and date to suit you, we will provide general guidance on best practice in volunteer recruitment and management, as well as advice tailored to your charity, community group or social enterprise.  We will also signpost you to other resources and organisations which could help and, if appropriate, introduce you to other local organisations.

Following the 1 hour session, you will receive a list of the resources discussed to help you move forward. We will also agree a date to follow up with you to review progress and give further support if needed.

Who should attend?

These sessions are for volunteer-involving organisations delivering services in Buckinghamshire, not-for profit groups wanting to start involving volunteering as well as for people looking to set up new charities, community groups or social enterprises.

Who you will be meeting

Hazel Finney, Lead for Volunteering at Community Impact Bucks, has extensive experience of supporting mainly small and medium-sized organisations in Buckinghamshire with their volunteer and trustee recruitment and management.  Hazel volunteers with the Association of Volunteer Managers (AVM), an independent membership body that supports, represents and champions people in volunteer management in the UK.

Please email hazel@communityimpactbucks.org.uk to arrange your advice session at a convenient time and date.  It can be held over the phone, but you may find it more beneficial to access the service online via Zoom if possible.
