Local Voluntary Sector Network Forum
Join us at the next Local Voluntary Sector Network Forum in High Wycombe on 24 September 2024 (6-8pm) for a chance to network, share information and look for ways to collaborate with other Bucks charities and community groups.
About the event
Taking place in High Wycombe, this in-person forum is for local not-for-profit groups to discuss local needs and issues they may be facing, and to explore opportunities for change in their communities.
Topics for discussion are raised by the forum’s participants. Some of the areas highlighted at previous Local Voluntary Sector Network meetings include:
- Prioritising and managing workloads
- Finding local funding opportunities
- Recruiting more volunteers
- Raising the profile of your organisation, particularly through social media
- Engaging young people
It is also a great opportunity to network with peers in an informal setting.
Who should attend?
Individuals and groups involved with Bucks-based charities, voluntary and community groups, and social enterprises that are based and/or provide services in Buckinghamshire are welcome.
Both new and established organisations, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to share their experiences with others.
About the Local Voluntary Sector Networks
The Local Voluntary Sector Network forums were set up to enable Bucks-based not-for-profit organisations to network, discuss local needs and identify ways to of working together to address these needs within the community.
The Networks are facilitated by Community Impact Bucks, but the focus and topics are driven by the local groups based on the priorities of their communities.
