Local Voluntary Sector Network Forum – South Buckinghamshire

Community Impact Bucks is hosting a series of Local Voluntary Sector Network forums for Bucks-based charities, voluntary & community groups, and social enterprises to share information and collaborate on the local issues that matter most.

Open to individuals and groups involved in the voluntary sector in the Buckinghamshire Council North Community Board and South Community Board localities, the Local Voluntary Sector Network forums will provide an informal space where attendees can discuss local needs and explore opportunities for change in their communities.

The Networks are facilitated by Community Impact Bucks, but the focus and topics are driven by the local groups based on the priorities of their communities.

The focus of the southern Network forum

Following feedback from the first Local Voluntary Sector Network forums in February 2022, the forum agenda will be flexible to allow discussion to focus on the key issues highlighted by participants. Some of the issues highlighted by organisations in the South have so far included:

  • How can we make a case for funding?
  • How can Buckinghamshire Council support organisations?
  • How can we link with other organisations?

Moving forward, the structure of the forums will evolve and adapt to most suit the needs of attendees.

We are seeking to share contact details between attendees so that people can follow up with other organisations for networking, support and collaboration. If you are happy to share your details, please let us know on the Eventbrite registration page.

Who should attend?

Individuals and groups involved with Bucks-based charities, voluntary community groups and social enterprises that are based and/or provide services in Community Board areas of:

  • South West Chilterns
  • North West Chilterns
  • Amersham
  • Beaconsfield & Chepping Wye
  • High Wycombe
  • Beeches
  • Wexham & Ivers
  • Denham
  • Gerrards Cross & Chalfonts

To find out more about Community Boards and the geographic area they cover, visit the Buckinghamshire Council website.

Both new and established organisations, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to participate, to share their experiences with others.

Organisations are welcome to participate in both North and South networks if they are working across a wider area in the county. Details about the Network forum for northern Buckinghamshire on 11 July can be found here.
