Local Voluntary Sector Network Meeting

Join us for the next Local Voluntary Sector Network Forum on 4th December (6.30-8pm), where you will have the opportunity to meet other local charities, voluntary and community groups, share information, and collaborate on local issues that matter the most.

About the event

The Local Voluntary Sector Network meeting is an in-person event, taking place at the Multicultural Centre in Aylesbury.

At the informal event you will have time to reflect on some of the key organisational issues that you face. Some of the issues highlighted at previous Local Voluntary Sector Network meetings include:

  • Prioritising and managing workloads
  • Local funding opportunities available
  • How to recruit more volunteers
  • Advice on raising the profile of organisations, particularly through social media

There will also be an opportunity for all organisations to break out and network with one another.

Who should attend?

Individuals and groups involved with Bucks-based charities, voluntary and community groups and social enterprises that are based and/or provide services in Buckinghamshire.

Both new and established organisations, of all sizes, are welcome and we encourage all groups to share their experiences with others.

About the Local Voluntary Sector Networks

Local Voluntary Sector Network forums were set up in 2022 to enable Bucks-based charities, voluntary and community groups, and social enterprises to share information and collaborate on the local issues that matter most.

If you are involved in the voluntary sector in Buckinghamshire, this informal space is open to discuss local needs and explore opportunities for change in their communities.

The Networks are facilitated by Community Impact Bucks, but the focus and topics are driven by the local groups based on the priorities of their communities.

More information about the events can be found on the Community Impact Bucks website.

How to book

The networking event will be held in-person, at Aylesbury Multicultural Community Centre, Friarscroft Way, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP20 2TE.
