Meet The Funder – BBC Children in Need: What Makes a Good Grant Application?

BBC Children in Need funds grassroots charities and projects that support children and young people to feel and be safer, have improved mental health and wellbeing, form more positive relationships and be given more equal opportunities to flourish.

If your organisation is looking to apply for funding with BBC Children in Need and serves Buckinghamshire, join us for our next FREE Meet the Funder event on 29th February (12pm – 1pm) where you will hear about BBC Children in Need grants, find out what makes a good grant application, and have the opportunity to meet your local funding officer.

What you will take away from this event

We will be joined by Kati Evans, Regional Officer Southeast for BBC Children in Need, who will give an overview of current funding opportunities as well as some key hints and tips about how you can make the most of your application.

By the end of the session, you will have a greater understanding of what it is like to work with a national funder, in this case BBC Children in Need, and have an insight into how national funders are looking to support smaller local charities and not-for-profit organisations.

About BBC Children in Need grants

BBC Children in Need grants are open throughout the year for funding applications from constituted groups, registered charities, CIOs and CICs, and often has several funding programmes open at any one time.

Before you apply, it is important that you choose the one which is right for you and your organisation. Please refer to its site for more information about its grants
