Meet the Funder – Buckinghamshire Community Boards – Online Zoom Event

If your not-for-profit organisation serves Buckinghamshire and you are looking to apply to the Community Boards for funding for projects in specific areas of the county, join us for our next FREE Meet the Funder event on 23rd February 2023 (1-2pm) when you have the opportunity to hear about funds directly from Amy Jenner, Senior Community Board Manager and Nicola Surman, Funding & Support Team leader.

About Community Board funding

Community Board funding is designed to support voluntary and community groups, charities, constituted groups, Community Interest Companies, and other types of social enterprises which are registered and operating in the county, and whose activities help to:

What you will take away from this event

This session will give you a greater understanding of what it is like to work with the Community Boards. It will increase your knowledge in what makes a good application and give you an insight into how Community Boards are looking to support local charities and not for profit organisations.

We will be joined on this session by Amy Jenner and Nicola Surman from the Community Board team, who will provide further information about its funding opportunities and give you some key hints and tips about how you can make the most of your application.

Buckinghamshire Community Boards are currently open for funding applications. Please refer to Buckinghamshire Council’s Community Board webpages for more detailed information about its funding and grants.

The session is limited to 25 places; priority will be given to charities and not-for-profit organisations which have not previously been successful with the Community Boards.
