Meet the Funder – National Lottery Heritage Fund – Online Zoom Event

Community Impact Bucks is pleased to invite you to a session with the National Lottery Heritage Fund where they will be giving a presentation about the recently re-opened National Lottery Grants for Heritage.

What you will take away from this event

This session will give you a greater understanding of what it is like to work with a national funder, in this case the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It will increase your knowledge in what makes a good application and give you an insight into how national funders are looking to support smaller local charities and not for profit organisations.

We will be joined on this session by Chris Mason, National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Engagement Manager for England, London and South, who will provide further information about the funding opportunities and the eligibility criteria, tips on applying, the application process and timescales and about how you can make the most of your application.

About the Fund

The National Lottery Heritage Fund offers grants from £3,000 for all types of heritage projects that could connect people and communities to heritage.

When making funding decisions, the National Lottery Heritage Fund will prioritise heritage projects that:

  • encourage skills development and job creation
  • support wellbeing
  • boost the local economy
  • create better places to live, work and visit
  • improve the resilience of organisations working in heritage

All projects need to demonstrate that a wider range of people will be involved in heritage compared to before the project started.

Please refer to its website for more detailed information about its grants.

Is this session for you?

  • Are you from a not-for-profit organisation or community group?
  • Is your organisation/group or heritage asset based in Buckinghamshire?
  • Do you have an idea for a project that could connect people and communities to heritage?
  • Are you looking for a grant of more than £3,000?

This event is ideal if you have a project in mind and it provides an opportunity to ask the funder directly any questions you may have.
