Meet the Funder: The Rothschild Foundation – Online Zoom Event

If your not-for-profit organisation benefits Buckinghamshire communities, and you are looking to apply for funding from the Rothschild Foundation, join us for our next FREE Meet the Funder event on 19th November (10:00 am – 11:30 am) via Zoom.  In the 90-minute session you will have the opportunity to meet your local funding officer, gain information on a range of grants available to Buckinghamshire charities, voluntary and community groups and social enterprises (VCSEs), and get tips and insights on how to submit a good application.

About this event

This virtual event is your opportunity to meet Grants team from the Rothschild Foundation and learn about the grants currently available to charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and other community and social enterprise organisations.

Come and learn more about these grant programmes, get to know the teams that support you and ask questions that help you understand whether your initiative, group activities and needs match the grant criteria.

What you will take away from this event

This session will give you a greater understanding of what it is like to work with the Rothschild Foundation. You will find out what makes a good application and gain an insight into how Rothschild Foundation is looking to support smaller local charities and not-for-profit organisations.

We will be joined by Karen Nicoll, Grants Officer and Dave Terrace, Grants Manager for the Rothschild Foundation, who will provide further information about the funding opportunities and the eligibility criteria, tips on applying, the application process and timescales, and about how you can make the most of your application.

By attending this Meet the Funder event we aim to give you the opportunity to:

  • Ask questions about the Rothschild Foundation’s funding opportunities, including the application process.
  • Hear about who the Rothschild Foundation is focused on supporting.
  • Better understand what is currently being funded by the Rothschild Foundation and whether your project might be successful.
  • Gain an insight into the decision-making processes led by the funder.
  • Receive advice direct from the Rothschild Foundation.

 About the Funds

The Rothschild Foundation provides a variety of grant programmes for charities and community groups in Buckinghamshire.  This session will cover each of the funds in brief.

Who should attend?

All Buckinghamshire-based not-for-profit groups, such as voluntary and community groups, charities, constituted groups, Community Interest Companies, and other types of social enterprise, are invited to attend.

This event is ideal if you have a project in mind and it provides an opportunity to ask the funder directly any questions you may have.
