What do trustees do? Roles and responsibilities
This may be a new role or you may have been doing it for a while. Either way, come along to share and learn more about what trustees do and your vital role in making your charity effective and successful.
The course will help you:
Develop an understanding of what is and what isn’t the role and responsibility of a trustee
Be introduced to the key legal responsibilities and recognised good practice, and know where to find out more information
Identify and discuss implications for your current trusteeship
Facilitated by Diane Rutter from Community Impact Bucks. Diane has served on and supported trustee boards and knows how important it is for everyone to understand their role and how it relates to the rest of their group, thus avoiding problems caused by misunderstandings and by having a clear focus for the best possible outcome.
The workshop is limited to 12 participants from the voluntary and community sector.
Who should attend?
Trustees and members of management committees
Cost information
£40 for charities and not-for-profit organisations in Bucks
