What do Trustees do? Trustee induction and refresher
In line with government guidance regarding Covid-19 the delivery of this course is currently under review. We will update all course attendees once a solution has been reached.
The course will help you to get your head around your role as a trustee. A useful induction for new trustees and a helpful refresher for “old hands”.
For you to:
- Develop an understanding of what is and what isn’t the role and responsibility of a trustee
- To be introduced to the key legal responsibilities and recognised good practice, and know where to find out more information
- Identify and discuss implications for your current trusteeship
Facilitated by Services Director, Diane Rutter, from Community Impact Bucks. Diane has served on and supported trustee boards and knows how important it is for everyone to understand their role and how it relates to the rest of their group, thus avoiding problems caused by misunderstandings and by having a clear focus for the best possible outcome.
The workshop is limited to 10 participants from the voluntary and community sector.
