Volunteers’ Week: Time to Celebrate
Volunteers’ Week is a chance to celebrate and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK – and to promote your volunteer roles! This year marks 35 years since Volunteers’ Week was first celebrated in the UK. It takes place from 1-7th June every year and is an opportunity to celebrate volunteering in all its different forms.
It’s also NCVO’s 100th birthday this year, they have a dedicated website where you can find out more about how to involve your organisation in the celebrations. Download resources including a logo pack, tools to help promote events you might be running, certificates and thank you cards for your volunteers.
